His personal experience of coming to America is touching and his take on American culture is absolutely hilarious. In this fast-paced production Yakov takes a turn as the United States President; explores the Laboratory of Laughter; and delivers some razor sharp humor with a band of pirates! The action keeps speeding up as the authentic Russian Dance Troupe leaps and twirls across the stage - and Yakov even takes a unique spin of his own!
Speaking of spins.Yakov also uses keen observation and timely wit to comment on the dynamics between men and women, the happiness that can be found inside oneself, and generally celebrates the joy of laughter. In fact, in 2006 Yakov earned his master's degree in applied positive psychology from the Univ. of Penn. During his show, Professor Smirnoff provides humorous insight on the indisputable differences between the genders and shows us how "Love and Laughter" go hand in hand!
