Branson's Lake Queen Sightseeing Cruises
The Lake Queen is a modern day replica of the grand riverboats which used to ply the White River in Branson, Missouri. As the lake Queen paddles along the shores of Lake Taneycomo, your guide will explain facts and trivia of the historical and present day Branson waterfront, along with local points of interest.
Cruise south to the Historic Lake Taneycomo Bridge as you hear about Baldknobber's, Branson's first roller skating rink, and the Hillbilly Jamboree, Branson's first music show. Pass beneath majestic Mt. Branson as you wind your way back north towards the 95-acre Branson Landing waterfront to witness the $7.5 million spectacular water attraction, merging water, fire, and music. View the immense diversity of Branson's wildlife, from the American Bald Eagle, Night Heron and Brown Thrasher to foxes, coyote, mink and flying squirrels.Listen to tales of how Branson got its name and why Rockaway Beach is no longer referred to as the Ft. Lauderdale of the Midwest.
Lunch Cruise Details: Enjoy our delicious Ozark BBQ Pulled Pork, Italian Pasta and Caesar Salas buffet or Turkey or Ham Croissant sandwich. A gluten free meal is available by request. It includes BBQ Pork, baked beans and coleslaw or Grilled chicken fingers, baked beans and green beans.
Veteran's Week Special Sightseeing or Lunch Cruises - November 5-11, 2010
All veterans and their spouses and active military will be able to enjoy a great sightseeing cruise or lunch cruise at a special rate. Sightseeing cruises are at 1:45 pm. Lunch cruise is 4:45 pm. Enjoy a delicious lunch including a jumbo croissant sandwich with your choice of fresh ham or turkey with lettuce, cheese and tomato. Also included are chips, a brownie, coffee, hot tea, soda, and water. There is also a great 4:45 pm dinner special aboard the Princess!
